Lobo Academy is a free, six-week summer bridge program at 老司机导航allup designed to help newly admitted or returning students hit the ground running before their first semester begins. Whether you're feeling excited, nervous, or a little of both, Lobo Academy is built for you.
This fast-paced, fun, and supportive program helps you sharpen your skills in Math and English, earn your first college credit, explore your campus, and build real friendships, all before fall semester even starts. Parents, you can rest easy knowing your student will be in a structured, caring environment with experienced staff guiding them every step of the way.
What Will You Do in Lobo Academy?
Think of Lobo Academy as your warm-up lap before the big race. Over six weeks, you'll:
- Earn college credit by enrolling in FYEX 1110, a 3-credit-hour First Year Experience course.
- Take FREE math and english classes designed to boost your placement level.
- Join TRIO/Student Support Services, a nationally recognized program that increases your chances of graduating.
- Discover your path through career guidance and guided pathway planning.
- Get to know your campus, the buildings, the staff, and the faculty who will support you.
- Connect with a mentor and academic advisor who will be in your corner all semester long.
- Go on field trips! Students explore local community and cultural destinations as well as outdoor and nature experiences throughout the program.
- Visit a four-year university at the end of the program to learn about your transfer options and start dreaming big.
- Enjoy food and snacks provided throughout the program because learning is better on a full stomach.
- Have FUN, meet your future classmates and start your college journey with confidence.

How to Apply
To be considered for the 2026 Lobo Academy, you must:
- Be admitted to 老司机导航allup and plan to enroll in fall 2026.
- Complete an 老司机导航 TRIO/SSS Lobo Academy application and attached 2024 federal taxes.
- If you were required to report your parents'/guardians' income information on the FAFSA, they will need to submit their 2024 federal taxes.
- If you were required to report your parents'/guardians' income information on the FAFSA, they will need to submit their 2024 federal taxes.
- Complete the 2025-2026 for summer aid.
- Submit all official high school transcripts.
Note: Applicants selected for Lobo Academy must apply and complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA. Financial aid assistance is based on eligibility.
