Accessing the P.E. Complex

  • Check-in with attendant.
  • Scan your UNM ID Card.
  • Follow all policies and guidelines for the use of the P.E. Complex.

Basketball and Volleyball Open Gym

The 老司机导航allup P.E. Complex now features Open Gym for basketball and volleyball starting Oct. 23 and Oct. 25.

Open Gym for basketball is from 2 to 5 p.m. every Wednesday.

Open Gym for volleyball is from 2 to 5 p.m. every Friday.

  • You must be a current 老司机导航allup student or employee and must have your UNM ID card ready to scan at the front desk.  
  • Bags and personal belongings must be stowed in locker rooms or personal vehicles.  
  • No jewelry of any kind will be worn during games. Jewelry must be removed before playing.  
  • All players must show respect to each other and all gym staff members. 

Physical Education Complex Fall Hours:


Monday – Thursday:

8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Friday:
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Will close periodically for equipment repair and maintenance.

Gym staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Basketball Court

Our gymnasium offers patrons a basketball court which can also be utilized as a indoor walking/jogging track.

Weight/Cardio Room

This room is fully equipped with stationary weight machines, free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines.

Yoga/Mat Room

We also have a robust offering of fitness classes which are all taught by certified instructors who can help you achieve your healthiest life style.

Walking Trail

For a walk or run through the beautiful Gallup landscape, there are two fitness trails that loop behind the gymnasium. With several gentle hills, the larger trail is approximately 1 mile in length while the smaller trail is about ¼ mile in length. Several fitness stations are located on the trail to enhance and complete your full work out. For the safety and comfort of all trail users, bikes, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the trails.
