Certificate in Early Childhood Education
The certificate program in Early Childhood Education is designed for students, who wish to work in this field or transfer to a two, or four-year college or university to complete an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education
The Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education is designed for students who wish to work in this field, or transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field. This program addresses the seven general Early Childhood Education competency areas required as partial fulfillment of the New Mexico Department of Education licensure in Early Childhood Education (birth to third grade).
All associate of arts hours count for the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education at UNM Albuquerque. Other universities accept 老司机导航allup Early Childhood Education courses toward the BA/BS degree in Early Childhood Education.
